Riding Day 2
Explore that Mountain Valley – 6 hours riding
Today we are exploring the Huxley valley that threads through the foot of the mountains.
It is a day to keep your camera at the ready as we meander along the ice blue glacial river that rushes from the mountain peaks.
Native beech trees line our route and the native birds put on a show that feels like its just for us.
Soak up star filled evening in the hot tub over looking Lake Ohau. Let us prepare you a beautiful dinner as you chat about your day on horseback.

Today we are exploring the breathtaking Temple valley , weaving our way through ancient beech forests. Papatuanuku “Mother Earth” is so majestic as she paints her landscapes of dappled green, greys, ice blues.
Often as we begin our ride, mist hands on the mountain peaks and it is like riding into “Lord of the Rings” movie set.
There is so much to share, although we have only been away for three days, it feels like we have been in our own horse bubble of adventure.
Enjoy our final evening, singing around the open fire or quietly soaking in the hot tub. Laughter always rings out in this fabulous location.
